Bachelor of Science in Geosciences: Geography Concentration

The Geosciences Department of FAU is proud to offer you an online pipeline to your future career, the  Bachelor of Science in Geosciences  with a concentration in  Geography. Our faculty developed an eLearning curriculum that is every bit as rigorous and rewarding as that of our traditional program.

The science of Geography is the all-encompassing study of the planet upon which we live: where things are located, how they came to be there, and how they have changed over time. This study accounts for both the influences of nature (Physical Geography) and man (Human Geography).  The Geographic Information Sciences (GIS)  empower geographers to both map and analyze the spatial patterns associated with both sub-disciplines. Students seeking their Bachelor’s degree will have the opportunity to study each sub-discipline prior to later concentration.
