New Users Guide

New users should contact the Managing Director  jboerner@fau.edu   with a brief description of the planned project. Please include your research lab and/or name of your PI and your position. Before starting any sample preparation, it is suggested to discuss feasibility and design of the project with the Core Staff to ensure that the Cell Imaging Core can provide the appropriate equipment and services.

Training can be scheduled with the Core Staff in the weeks before project start date. Each equipment requires separate training. For novice users, it will usually take three training sessions before autonomous equipment usage is permitted. Training will be charged a user fee, please refer to the price sheet.

After completed training, users will receive access codes to the facility and equipment and will be able to schedule sessions. Novice users will be limited to scheduling session during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm).
